Ceramicist- Andile Dyalvane

It was a great honour for me to recently go shoot some pictures of Andile Dyalvane, a phenomenal South African ceramicist, at his studio in Woodstock Cape Town.

Part-owner of Imiso Cermaics, and recently voted one of Mail and Guardian's Top 200 Young South Africans ( http://ysa2011.mg.co.za/category.php?youngid=12&categoryid=1 )
Andile is currently attracting massive attention. With his main inspiration being his cultural heritage, he responds and engages with this through his art. My favourite thing about him aside from his gorgeous pieces?

His mantra... he tries "never to lie" either in art or in life.

Kirstenbosch Gardens provided the perfect backdrop for kidofdoom's deep space champion pop.
Isochronous warmed up the stage, the beautiful weather warmed our spirits and the incredibly energetic set by the kidofdoom guys warmed our souls. Absolutely phenomenal.
